We’ll be covering two main things during the trainings. First, we’ll walk through a few small updates and changes to HT’s ESL program for 2026 so everyone is on the same page.

Second, we’ll focus on how we actually teach in our ESL classes. We’ll talk through what works well with our students, share ideas and examples, and give some guidance around leading activities, supporting different levels, and what to do when you’re not quite sure what to do next. This is meant to be very practical and helpful, whether you’re newer to volunteering or have been with us for a while.
