Our Job Readiness Program is built around a structured, flow-chart–style pathway that guides clients through every step of the job search and hiring process. The program is designed to meet clients exactly where they are, while giving volunteers an easy, consistent framework to follow.
The goal is to promote long-term self-sufficiency. Clients learn how to complete job applications, write or update a resume, search for jobs, prepare for interviews and the workplace, and complete post-hire paperwork independently.
Each participant is paired with a Job Coach who works with them one-on-one at a time and location that best fits their needs. Coaches can support clients at any point in their journey, from practicing job-specific English or learning how to use Indeed, to walking alongside them from start to finish. Each step is outlined for the Coach, but flexibility and adaptability is necessary as every client is different. You will be supported by Heartfelt Tidbits’ staff through any arising challenges.
