At Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, class is held two ways for students. A group of students participates via Zoom and after anyone joins the call the volunteers and students are moved into online rooms for class. The second way is in person at the church in Anderson. Students and volunteers arrive 5-10 minutes early and then are divided based on student attendance. Children are provided with homework help and those under the age of 5 are supervised in the nursery. Volunteers can choose to teach ESOL and Citizenship, drive a student one or both ways, or work with the children. After you sign up, you'll send an email to Sue Goldberg at skmgoldberg@gmail.com and she will help you prepare for the volunteer position you sign up for.
